Zito linked with vacant Medeama post

Karim Zito has been linked to Medeama

Asante Kotoko reserves and development coach Karim Zito could be heading to Tarkwa to take over as new Medeama SC head coach, according to reports in the local media. 

Medeama have been forced to enter the market for a new head coach after Bashir Hayford left the club to join fellow Glo Premier League side AshGold earlier this week.

Reports claim Medeama officials have already started talks Zito who is training Kotoko’s reserves squad.

However Zito has denied the reports and says he is yet to be contacted by Medeama officials.

“It is not true. I have professionals I work with and if there is anything like that, they will have to contact them,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.
