Ex-Ghana international Yusif Alhassan Chibsah has tipped youngster Yusif Rahman Chibsah to excel in the Black Stars.
The Parma midfielder impressed heavily during his debut appearance in Ghana colours during the African’s 2-2 draw against Turkey in an international friendly last week.
The 20-year-old earned rave reviews with his commanding displays after replacing Rabiu Mohammed in the second half at the Atuturk stadium.
The ex-Asante Kotoko enforcer, who plays for Swedish side Djurgarden IF, is convinced his compatriot will be a huge hit in the Black Stars.
“I spoke with him after the game against Turkey and I believe he is a good addition to the Ghana squad,” Chibsah said
“He is a great chap with amazing potential. I have no doubt in my mind he will do well if given more opportunities.
Rahman Chibsah is likely to be included in the Ghana squad for next month’s World Cup crunch tie against Zambia in Kumasi.
