Yusif Abubakar facing Berekum Chelsea sack after damaging defeat

Published on: 26 November 2012

Yusif Abubakar could be sacked by Berekum Chelsea following his sides’ 4-1 defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs.

The Blues were heavily embarrassed at the Robert Mensah stadium as goals from Francis Attuquaye, John Arthur and Asiwone Fumador condemned them to their heaviest defeat in the top-flight.

The future of the former Wassaman United coach has since been hugely speculated with reports suggesting he could be axed from the club.

Officials are believed to be unhappy with his tactical approach to the game and are demanding a swift response against All Stars on Wednesday.

Another slip again the Wa-based side could be his last game for the 2010 Ghanaian League champions.

Chelsea have been knocked out of the top-four after the heavy defeat.
