Ex-Ghana U17 captain Nasiru Mohammed says his BK Hacken side have shifted their full focus to the Swedish Allsvenskan after being eliminated from the Svenska Cupen.

The 19-year-old was hoping for his first major career silverware by lifting the Svenska Cupen but his dreams on dashed when Elfsborg pipped his Hacken side to reach the semi-finals at their expense.

Hacken now have only the Swedish domestic league title to contest for and Nasiru says his side would now focus their attention on claiming the league title.

"I'm looking forward to the league which will start this weekend. We were hoping to get to the Svenska Cupen final and win but that couldn't materialise so we have our full attention on the league now," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Hacken open their league season with a visit by Norrköping at the Nya Gamla Ullevi.

Nasiru has personally aimed to improve his season stats: "You know I have to play more than last season and improve my scoring and that is my main priority going into the season."
