Ghanaian youngster Felix Adjei impressed on his debut for Red Bull Salzburg on Saturday night in the Austrian Bundesliga.

The 20-year-old left-winger was promoted from the club's junior side last week and has impressed the technical team.

He was handed a starting role by head coach Ricardo Moniz before replacing him after 64 minutes as they drew 1-1 with Wacker Innsbruck.

Last month, he scored for the Red Bull Junior side (who play in the third tier) against top division side Mattersburg in a Cup match.

Adjei, a product from the Red Bull Soccer Academy in Sogakope, moved to Austria as trialist in 2009 and was handed a deal.
