Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Elvis Manu heralded his return to Feyenoord Rotterdam in grande style by scoring a classy finish in their 7-0 trouncing of SC Feyenoord in a pre-season game on Saturday afternoon.

Manu, 19, spent the just ended season with Eerste Divisie side Excelsior where he netted eight times.

Feyenoord boss Ronald Koeman named the strong and powerful winger in his pre-season squad and he travelled to Varkenoord where the game was held.

However, he was not a starter as the experienced Achahbar was preferred to him.

But in the second-half when he was introduced, he made his presence count and thrilled the supporters at the Varkenoord Arena.

His pace, skill and extraordinary physique proved too difficult for the opposition defence to deal with and in the 68th minute, he cemented his glittering show with a killer finish.

Ivorian Sekou Cisse extracted the ball from the SCF defence and laid an inviting pass for Manu to dart home a nice sensational drive.

Manu was born in Dordrecht to Ghanaian immigrants and has represented the Young Oranje but he is still eligible to represent Ghana at the senior level if he chooses to.
