Rising Ghanaian star Divine Naah says he is keen on playing at the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.

The 18-year-old was unable to join the Black Satellites for the African Youth Championships for reasons believed to be linked to his club commitments at NAC Breda where he is on loan from Manchester City.

Naah is however widely considered to be one of the foreign-based players needed to strengthen Sellas Tetteh’s team for the World Cup later this year.

And the young midfield gem says he is very much eager to be part of Ghana’s team at tournament to be staged in New Zealand.

“Yes, it [the U20 World Cup] is still something I’m looking forward to,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“It’s one of my dreams as well.

“I am now focusing on helping NAC Breda finish well in the league but I would love to play at the World Cup as well.”

Naah appears to have broken into the NAC Breda first team ever since making his debut late last month.
