Yaw Preko urges the Ghana FA to resolve their differences with the Ayews

Ex-Ghana international Yaw Preko wants the FA to resolve their differences with the Ayew brothers.

Andre and his junior brother Jordan called temporal time on their international careers following disagreements with the Ghana FA.

While Andre feels his efforts have not been appreciated by authorities, Jordan has been unhappy since he was overlooked for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

The two sons of Ghana legend Abedi Pele have therefore requested for a break from the national team with a hope of returning as ‘better’ players.

But the assistant coach of the national Under-20 team is preaching peace between the two parties and wants them to patch up their disagreements.

‘I think it’s a matter of disagreements and I believe it will be solved pretty soon,” Preko said

“We need each other to ensure we achieve the ultimate aim of winning the title for our suffering people.

“The two parties should sit down and solve whatever differences they have so we can all move on.”

The two have been hailed as the future of the Ghanaian national team and their decision to retire prematurely is seen as a major blow.
