Yaw Preko urges the Ghana FA to resolve their differences with the Ayews

Posted On Thursday, 28th February 2013

Jordan and Andre have resigned from the Black Stars

Ex-Ghana international Yaw Preko wants the FA to resolve their differences with the Ayew brothers.

Andre and his junior brother Jordan called temporal time on their international careers following disagreements with the Ghana FA.

While Andre feels his efforts have not been appreciated by authorities, Jordan has been unhappy since he was overlooked for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

The two sons of Ghana legend Abedi Pele have therefore requested for a break from the national team with a hope of returning as ‘better’ players.

But the assistant coach of the national Under-20 team is preaching peace between the two parties and wants them to patch up their disagreements.

‘I think it’s a matter of disagreements and I believe it will be solved pretty soon,” Preko said

“We need each other to ensure we achieve the ultimate aim of winning the title for our suffering people.

“The two parties should sit down and solve whatever differences they have so we can all move on.”

The two have been hailed as the future of the Ghanaian national team and their decision to retire prematurely is seen as a major blow.

U people are joke, that’s the exact same attitude their father had during his time, no one did nothing, that’s why the team never did a thing. People on here always bringing up issue between Akwesi Apiah and Abedi, Abedi didn’t have issue only with Akwesi Apiah,he had issue with tony yeboah,Tony baffoo and some other players that people didn’t take their matter seriously. He rule the GFA then with his ego and always bringing division in to the team. He had this mentality that black stars can not do without him, now his children wants to impose the same mentality in to the team, but lets be honest,do u really think black stars can’t do without them, of course the team can do without them, the just has to call the right players. Afriyie aquaah was dropped, and he is better than Rabiu Mohammed, look there’s tons of players out there, in which the coach has to look deep. Because u was dropped that’s that means u have to quit, nonsense man this is very stupid. And Jordan,Jordan u not even a regular, u are just starting to gain some spot in the team.now every body will feel like they can quit when they are dropped.
