Yaw Acheampong yet to return to post

Yaw Acheampong is yet to return to AshGold

AshGold head coach Yaw Acheampong is not likely to be on the touchline for their Glo Premier League tie with Tema Youth on Sunday.

Acheampong was asked to step aside last month after a string of poor displays and did not make the trip to Accra when the Miners beat Hearts 1-0.

Assistant Kamara Dini, who took charge of the Hearts victory is still acting as head coach.

AshGold officials are weighing the option of confirming Kamara as substantive coach till the end of the season while Serbian trainer Danilo Doncic could also be named as Acheampong’s replacement.
