Newly-appointed Accra Great Olympics coach, Joachim Yaw Acheampong, has set a three-match target to escape the drop zone of the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The 41-year-old is confident with the quality available to the club, the team could avoid the drop zone before the end of the remaining five matches in the first half of the season.

Acheampong, who was speaking after he was confirmed as the new coach of the Wonder Club, said he felt honoured to be asked to take up the challenge to salvage the club from relegation and he was positive about the  team’s future prospects.

The coach, who has begun a new relationship with Olympics after serving as a deputy coach for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, has been described by the club as the best man to help turn around the fortunes of the club.
