Yaw Acheampong named AshGold permanent coach

Yaw Acheampong has been named substantive AshGold coach
Yaw Acheampong has been confirmed as the substantive coach of AshantiGold till the end of the season, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
Acheampong who assisted dismissed Croat Zdravko Logarusic has been asked to step on the plate as they search for a substantive coach at the end of the season.
This is a reward for the ex-international who steered the club he once captained to escape relegation at the end of the first round.
Acheampong has Premier League experience from Tema Youth and an ill-fated spell at Asante Kotoko.
He will be boosted with the signings of some top notch players including last season top scorer Nana Poku for the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
The Ghana Premier League resumes on 19 February.
