Ashantigold Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo has hinted head coach Yaw Acheampong could be sacked if he is unable to reverse their hot and cold performances in the top-flight.
The miners were shell-shocked by Aduana Stars after going down 1-0 at home in their last Premier League encounter on November 11.
The Obuasi-based club have also been hit with injuries to key players including defensive duo Prince Anokye and Lawrence Lartey.
But the clubââ¬â¢s Chief Executive says management wonââ¬â¢t tolerate any excuses from the trainer and his backroom staff.
ââ¬ÅWe cannot continue to be playing second fiddle in the League. If we want to win, then we must pick some valuable points,â⬠Fianoo said
ââ¬ÅWe held a with technical team and informed them that if it continues like this, weââ¬â¢ll be left with no choice but to make heads roll.
ââ¬ÅIndeed heads will roll if this on and off performance continues.ââ¬
Ashantigold travel to the Golden City Park in Berekum to face Berekum Arsenals on Sunday.
