Midfielder Mohammed says he won't return to Kotoko

Highly-rated Asante Kotoko midfielder Yahaya Mohammed has forcefully restated his desire to quit the Ghana Premier League title-holders.

The 24-year-old who spent last season on loan with Amidaus Professionals is linked with a move to Obuasi-based AshGold SC with Kotoko agreeing a swap deal.

The recently dismissed KK Sarpong administration held initial discussions with their regional rivals in a deal that would see former Ghana U17 attacker Aaron Amoah switch to Kumasi.

However, an incoming management would try to rebuild relations with the players and lure Yahaya to renew his Kotoko contract and help the club's African campaign.

But the former OG Nice versatile midfielder took to facebook on Friday morning to send a remainder he wants to will not play for Kotoko in the upcoming season.

"I AM NUT GOING BACK 2 KOTOKO," he updated his facebook status.

His latest statement could come as a surprise for some Kotoko fans after the effective removal of Kwame Baah Nuako from the hierarchy.

He accused the outspoken administrator of branding him as a curse who was not wanted around Kotoko but it is likely the University of Ghana lecturer will not be around Kotoko for the upcoming season.
