Striker Yahaya Mohammed was adjudged man of the match in Ghana’s 1-1 draw with Libya at the Free State Stadium on Friday.

The Asante Kotoko ace scored the opening goal of the match in the sixth minute with a blistering header.

He did not relax after the early impressive form and could have doubled the tally before the half-time whistle.

Mohammed attempted to beat Libya goalkeeper Mohamed Fathi Abdaula with a long-range effort but that drifted wide.

He continued to pester the Libyan defenders and his search to increase the scoreline earned him a yellow card for diving inside the box.
