Ghana striker Yahaya Mohammed is a huge injury doubt for Saturday’s CHAN final against Libya in Cape Town.

The Asante Kotoko player was substituted in the second half during yesterday’s semi-final penalty shoot-out win over Nigeria in Bloemfontein.

The hardworking is suspected to have aggravated a knee injury.

Mohammed has been influential for the Local Black Stars at the tournament and has picked up two man of the match awards.

His only goal in the tournament was against Ghana’s next opponents, Libya, in the Group stage.

We needed him to do it again. We must assert our authority and readiness to win the game right from the first whistle. we have to bring the cup home by any means necessary.

  2. Maxwell Johnson says:

One of the shittest players in the team, how he managed to those two MVP really beats my imagination, I seriously doubt the criteria of that award. This local BS team suck big time! None of these players qualify to even be on the bench of our main BS team let alone play, I might consider only the GK buh he can only get the 3rd GK slot. The only thing that has kept us going throughout this tourney is our strong back line, the GK and also sheer luck. And to those Kotoko fans over hyping their average players lol, its really amazing cuz I wonder how the hell 7 of their players made the final 23 man squad. With the exception of Adusei and to some extent Ainooson the rest are shit players and don’t deserve to be in the team.
