Yahaya Mohammed continues prolific goal scoring form for Amidaus

Posted On Wednesday, 28th November 2012

Yahaya Mohammed is on fire for Amidaus Professionals

Yahaya Mohammed moved to the goalscorer’s chart after grabbing a brace in Amidaus’s 2-2 draw at home to Hearts of Oak on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old midfielder struck a goal in each half to increase his goal tally to 8 and moved  two clear of Liberty Professionals’ Kennedy Ashia.

Mohammed, on loan from Asante Kotoko has been in blistering scoring form for the Harbour-Warriors, netting four goals in two matches.

He scored twice as Amidaus came from behind to claw 2-2 at Medeama last Sunday and continued his commanding form against the 2000 African champions at the Tema sports stadium.

The 24-year-old has suddenly emerged as a red-hot in goal as he continues to prove the catalyst for the newly promoted side.

He has bee recalled by Kotoko and could re-join them in January.
