West Brom set to move for Ghanaian youngster Acosty

Posted On Wednesday, 28th September 2011

Ghana youth Maxwell Boadu Acosty is being monitored by English Premier League side West Brom from the January transfer window.

West Brom manager Roy Hodgson sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old last week when he scored for Fiorentina’s Primavera team.

Acosty scored for the reserves side in their 1-1 draw with Parma as he was being watched by a West Brom representative.

He won the Italian Youth Super Cup for Fiorentina with an injury time goal in a 3-2 win over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

Acosty has been named in Fiorentina’s Serie A squad for this season.
