Jordan Ayew could go to West Brom or Sochaux

French newspaper L’Equipe has suggested that West Bromwich and Sochaux are showing interest in Marseille forward Jordan Ayew.

The Ghanaian footballer has seen little playing time this season, having started just 7 Ligue 1 fixtures and OM are prepared to farm the player out on loan in the January window.

Ligue 1 strugglers Sochaux appear to be in pole position at the moment, mostly because they could agree to send Marseille target Sebastien Corchia in the other direction.

However, long-term admirers West Bromwich are also expected to make a move as they are in search of attacking reinforcements.

Jordan Ayew, who had come through the youth ranks at Marseille, has made a total of 111 league appearances for the French giants, scoring 14 goals in the process.

However, having failed to nail down a regular starting berth at Stade Velodrome, the 22-year-old looks set to leave his current employers in the January window.
