We will beat Kotoko for the fans - Louis Agyemang

Posted On Sunday, 14th October 2012

Louis Agyemang has assured AshGold fans of victory on Sunday

AshGold striker Louis Agyemang has assured fans of the Miners of victory over rivals Asante Kotoko ahead of Sunday’s derby clash at the Len Clay Stadium.

The Miners are hoping to perpetuate their impressive home run against the Porcupine Warriors at their favourite home grounds, while the league champions are seeking to end their three season win-less run over their bitter regional rivals at the venue.

AshGold put up a spirited showing in the match day one at Tamale holding new boys Real Tamale United to a two-all drawn game.

Agyemang who was a Kotoko player three seasons ago, says AshGold players will give the game all it takes to win for the home fans.

“We are motivated enough to win this game and we will win it for the home fans,” he said.

“They should just fill the stands and cheer us on.”

He joined AshGold from SC Medeama in September.

Fabulous photos of a gogruoes bride! I met Nikki at Ian’s brother Will and my niece Arlene’s wedding last month. We chatted a bit and my impression that she is a remarkably warm, fun and intelligent woman. Your photos reflect all that. Thank you for sharing this moment.
