Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari insists AC Milan players are determined to give their fans a treat when they face Barcelona in the Champions League.
The 28-year-old is likely to start against the Spanish giants in Wednesday night’s big clash at the San Siro haven been included in the 19-man squad.
The Catalans certainly start as favourites with their unbeaten record in seven previous games against the Rossoneri.
But Muntari though acknowledging the heculean task at hand, says the players will fight for a surprising result for their fans.
“Barcelona are a great team. It won’t be easy, but we want to do well and give our fans a nice surprise,” he said.
Tickets for the big game have already been sold out a few hours to kickoff according Milan’s official website.
This is the kind of games Messi should be measured up against, not playing against inferior opponents in La Liga.
