Kwesi Nyantakyi has urged the Black Stars to win convincingly against Malawi on Saturday

By Patrick Akoto

Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi says the Black Stars have no option than to beat Malawi convincingly in their 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday.

The West African giants take on The Flames in the first leg tie in the capital knowing a resounding victory will inch them closer to the Cup of Nations in South Africa next year.

The Ghanaians are aware underrating a side that is yet to lose a game in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers could prove disastraous and their country’s FA chief has charged the players to kill off the game in Accra.

“It is going to be difficult. But we have no option than to win the game against them,” Nyantakyi said

“We have put in place the necessary arrangement to ensure we record a resounding victory in the first leg,”

“The players are phsyched up for the game and I am very happy about it. I believe we will win. It’s important we win.”

Malawi coach Kinnah Phiri has said his side will upset their Ghana
