Richard Kingson has been the man in charge of the Black Stars post over the six years and has seen the country through some of its most important achievements.

He was in charge when Ghana reached its first and World Cups and the final of the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations.

But after the last three matches for the Black Stars calls have been ringing out for him to retire from the national team.

Watch the videos below and decide if he was at fault with the goals?

We all knw he did a poor job in making decisions in all cases but the question here for Ghanasoccernet is who is already to replace our most experience player of all time? no one, not Owu, the Aduana keeper, not Chelsea and I hope nobody ii come here to piss me off by saying sammy Adjei…..he aint our nxt goalie and once again he aint our nxt goalie if that is why ppl are sayin Kingson needs to be repplace, he aint done yet……England had the same problem when Green prove to be stubborn during the world cup…if got replaced by Hart proved to himself during games and whenever he was given the chance,…we are not ready to make such decision despite kingson’s poor performance…..nobody seems to prove the coaches or the entire nation dat they are the best to take over…….lets wait and the best yet will come from kingson.peace.

THANK YOU FIR THIS COMMENT. I’VE BEEN SAYING THIS GOD KNOWS HOW LONG. WE DNT HAVE ANY REPLACEMENT.

      • JERRO,GREECE says:

So all what you guys are saying is that we should keep on using Kingston till kingdom come?Kwame, i am so pleased that you used the green example to measure the kingson situation here. It was just one howler in a world cup situation and off Green went.If Hart had not been tried for once, would he have picked the confidence to be all flying now?all we are saying is there should be friendlies involving this outsiders of a goalkeepers we have right now to bolster their confidence levels and not keeping Kingston in all matches. Using club level performance to judge Sammy Adjei’s performance on national level means you are not being fair to the lad. Kingson took more than 40 goals in a season and you call that a superlative performance? you might argue that it was in one of the best leagues but i will also argue it out with you that it is one of the reasons why his confidence has dipped. When we talk of national or African level, what has Kingson achieved more than Sammy Adjei? its on record that Sammy has national leagues, caf champions league, caf super champions league medals in his wardrobe.Fatau Dauda was given a chance and he went into hiding after his abysmal performance in a friendly i will like to forget.Lets give the others the chance to prove themselves too and the pitch will judge them.Until that is done, we will forever not discover the best in others. All we are saying is that let the blackstars coaches prepare themselves for a better tommorow.

GHANASOCCERNET………… SINCE U GUYZ WANT TO BRING THIS TOPIC UP, WHY DONT U ALSO UPLOAD A VIDEO OF KINGSTON FOR HIS RECENT SAVES THAT COULD’VE LED TO GOALS. PEOPLE ARE NOT BEING FAIR AT ALL AND ITS PISSING ME OFF. KINGSTON IS ALL WE HAVE SO TAKE HIM OUT AND GHANA WILL GO DOWN THE HILL. THE GFA HASNT MADE ANY ATTEMPTS INTO BRINGING IN KWARASSEY OR HOWEVER U CALL HIM SO WE SHOULD ALL SUPPORT OUR #1 KEEPER………RICHARD KINGSTON

    • JERRO,GREECE says:

KEEP THIS IN MIND BRUV, WE ARE NOT AFTER KINGSTON PER SE BUT WE ARE FIGHTING FOR A REPLACEMENT WORTHY OF THE TEAM. NO ONE IS MAKING THAT MOVE AND WE WONT SIT ON THE BENCH.OVERCONFIDENT KINGSTON SHOULD REALIZE THAT THE GOALKEEPING DEPARTMENT IS NOT HIS BONAFIDE PROPERTY AND WE WILL NOT ACCEPT HEARTBREAKS JUST BECAUSE HE SAVED US BEFORE.OTHERS LIKE THE ROBERT MENSAHS, JOHN NAAWUS, SAM SUPPEYS, OWUSU MENSAH, JOE CARRS,SALIFU ANSAHS,ISAAC ANSAHS, MOHAMMED ODOOMS,BEN OWUS,AND EVEN SAMMY ADEIS HAVE COME AND GONE. SO WHY SHOULD’NT WE CRITICIZE HIM?DO WE LEAVE THAT TO ONLY THE TEAMS THAT EMPLOY HIM?

  3. gently john says:

Adam Kwarasey is the right choice, i have said this many times but i am so much surprise that the whole sport journalist in Ghana don’t even talk about him, this local goal keepers will not help us,again Stephen Ahorlu is doing well in Israel and i am so much surprise this sports journalist don’t talk about him,Kwaresay should be number 1 and Ahorlu number 2,Richard Kingson must retire now.

  4. wonderful kwame says:

Asamoah Gyan is the main problem….that guy sucks!

  5. Watete/ Toronto says:

WE WILL NEVER STOP COMPLAINING UNTIL G.F.A CHANGE RICHARD KINGSON

  6. Prettytony says:

Sammie Adjei shouldnt be in this conversion,if we need to replace kingston it should be a fresh blood with sammie adjei in post we will just be postponing da problem…but seriously, what black needs are good strikers ,4 now we have a wasteful disappointed rapper leading our attack
