Watch: Ghanaian youngster Antwi extends fine goalscoring form with Ismaily

Ghanaian striker John Atwi scored in Ismaily’s 5-0 drubbing of El-Khartoum in the Arab Champions League.

The ex Hearts of Oak player has now scored 7 goals in nine games for Ismaily even before the start of the Egyptian top flight.

The 20-year-old helped his side progress with a 6-3 aggregate scoreline after suffering a 3-1 reverse in the first leg a fortnight ago.

Striker Ahmed Ali opened the scoring after two minutes, John Antwi doubled the lead on 16 minute and Ahmed Khairy added a third four minutes later.

Khairy was on target again with seven minutes remaining before Ali wrapped up the victory in stoppage time as Ismaily ran riot.

The match was played at Alexandria's Borg El-Arab Stadium behind closed doors due to lingering security concerns in Egypt, which forced the indefinite suspension of domestic football following February's Port Said disaster.

The coastal club have now secured progress into the round of 16 of the competition.
