Wakaso sees red in Espanyol defeat

Posted On Sunday, 23rd September 2012

Mubarak Wakaso in action for Espanyol, was sent off

Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso was sent off as his Espanyol recorded a their fourth defeat of the season with a slim 1-0 defeat at Real Betis on Saturday.

The 22-year-old was cautioned for a bad challenge on a Real Betis player moments before the end of the first half.

Things turn sour for the former Villarreal player after picking up a second yellow card in the 67th minute and ordered off the pitch.

Espanyol were unable to cancel Paulo Afonso’s 18th minute strike for Real Betis.

The Barcelona-based side have picked just a single point from their opening five games of the season and are second from bottom.

This guy is so good, the best player for Espanyol but this red card thing is hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmn.
I watched yesterday and I said WOW this is the second coming of Muntari: dribble beautifully, strong tackle, monstrous-shot, speed, versatile, intelligent and goal-hungry. He hates to lose a fifty/fifty tackle that always attracts a card. He needs to CALM down and enjoy the game. What a player!!!!

  2. Dr Who says:

We need such committed players in our Black stars insead of players who feel too big to tackle & win balls in midfield.

  3. GH FUO, THINK BIG!!! says:
