Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem is preparing a bid to sign Ghana youth striker Kwame Amponsah-Karikari from Swedish giants AIK Stockholm, Ghanasoccernet.com has learnt.
The Eredivisie side are set to lose Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony in January to an unnamed EPL side and coach Fred Rutten has earmarked the 20-year-old.
Vitesse scouts watched the 2011 Ghana U20 forward score against PSV Eindhoven at the Philips Arena in the Europa League last week.
Since returning from loan in August, Karikari has netted 7 times in 18 appearances for AIK.
While on loan at Degerfors in the Swedish second-tier, he scored six times.

Good riddance, cant wait to see this young chap move to the Dutch Eredivisie. Its the 6th best league in the world and therefore wont be a bad destination for him to aid his development before making a BIG move in the near future, undoubtedly a future B/S striker in the making.
