Vitesse coach Peter Bosz feels that Christian Atsu, on loan from Chelsea, is ready for the club’s first team.
The 21-year-old has joined on a season-long loan after signing for the English Premier League giants from FC Porto.
And Bosz has not been able to hide his delight, believing the Dutch side have a player who can well and truly make the difference in the Eredivisie.
“Christian is a very interesting guy, partly because he played with Porto at the highest level,” the coach told Voetball International.
“He is also a senior international with Ghana and has played 17 matches.
“He is a boy who is ready for the Vitesse first team.”
Bosz also feels that when it comes to deploying Atsu, he will be spoilt for choice.
“He can play all four positions up front, but he usually plays on the left or the right.
“We need to have a look in the coming weeks where we need him most.”
