Impressive or unimpressive, what matter the most in football are the goals. You can play all the beautiful football if you fail to put the ball in the opponent’s net, all your efforts are for nothing.

    I love you Black Stars.

    • Zg says:

well said,i dont even mind if we win the cup this way,as far as we win

    • Jaja says:

No it does matter. How come it takes us until the 55st minute to score one goal against Cape Verde? How come we needed a penalty? In the World Cup okay, but not in the Africa Cup. and not against cape verde.

For the AFCON the goals should flow like water since most competitors are not on World Cup level. If we’re really serious about World Cup, we should totally dominate here and tear apart most opponents with ease. Today we didn’t do that.

  2. Kwame Pito says:

I think A.A has stopped doing something he used to do at the start of the competition. TRAIN THE LADS TO PLAY A HIGH INTENSITY GAME with focus and without fatigue. Secondly inform them to PLAY FOR EACH OTHER, SCORE FOR EACH OTHER. Team work will win us afcon but INDIVIDUALITY WILL MAKE US FAIL. Go back to basics A.A and DRUM IT INTO THEIR EARS BEFORE EVERY MATCH; PLAY FOR EACH OTHER, SCORE FOR EACH OTHER. gudluck.

  3. et canada says:

All i have to say about today’s game was forgetable, a win is a win but we did not deserve it, our defence was very poor even the english commentator was saying that was an unconvincing win by ghana. if we’re in for a long haul, then our coach should watch the game one more time and make the necessary changes. We played like this was our first nations cup ever in history and why is A.A not using 2 strikers? I personally dont blame Asamoah Gyan for not performing they way we all want him to because he is the only striker we have up front and there is too much presser on him. I wasn’t too pleased at all today and all Ghanaians are hoping our coach go and do his home work very well because that performance was very pothetic.

  4. Africanus says:

The history books do not talk about how beautifully you played. They only talk about the number of times you have won.

  5. Killer says:

I think some of you have forgeting that these same Cape verde eliminated almighty cameroon from the Afcon qualifiers and to be honest with you Togo is the best team in this tournament and i can promise you that they will beat the burkinabe’s and can cause us a surprise if care is not taken for the BS,soccer is now matured

    • zambia is our toilet hole says:

KILLER,YOU GUYS ARE TOTAL FAILURES AND THAT IS WHY GHANA IS GOING ALL THE WAY.AND AS I SAID EARLIER ON,IT DOESN’T MATTER WHICH WEST AFRICAN NATION LIFTS THE CUP WE SHALL ALL BE HAPPY .OF-COURSE I WILL BE IN FESTIVITY SHOULD GHANA WINS IT.JUST SAY WHATEVER YOU CARE TO PLEASE YOUR EMOTIONS BUT I PERSONALLY DON’T GIVE NO SHIT TO ZAMBIAN FOOTBALL.FOOTBALL ZAMBIA IS A JOKE.GHANA WILL CONTINUE TO FRUSTRATE ALL ENEMIES.WITH ALL THE ARROGANCE OF THE CAPE VERDE’S COACH,HE STARTED WEEPING LIKE A BEREAVED YOUNG MAN ON THE PITCH YESTERDAY IN ACCORDANCE TO MY PRE-MATCH WARNING THAT HE SHOULD BE CAREFUL NOT TO CRY IN RESPONSE TO HIS COMMENTS.

  6. Joe- Deaf Ghanain-American says:

My Dear Brother Jaja, Football is no longer how beautiful it is played…The bottom line in modern football nowadays is the score on the board…. If my memory could serve me right, Brazil is no longer dominating and scoring goals… They are just happy to get a win whether it is 1 nil or a tie… Most soccer playing countries have improved on their game so I am happy with our Black Stars putting points on the board (whether they played it beautifully or not)and taking Mother Ghana to the finals as well as winning the cup. Yes, I am very happy that we won it. A win is a win. Black Stars of Ghana, let your blazing Stars of Africa shine. Ayekoooo!

  7. Nana Owusu says:

U see, I don’t understand many Ghanians aba!! A team which have play 4 matches and score 8 goals, 3 matches we haven’t concede a goal and still people are blasting the defenders?? or is it because our coach is Black man that is why people are having problem cos u people was happy with that one goal project under that white dude. If dominating a game is the solution then I think Ghana have won the wold cup by now cos remember Ghana Vrs Brazil in 2006 wold cup, we dominated but at the end we were down by three goals to nil and were u people happy for that?? Bs we appreciate ur effort keep it up go Ghana go!!

  8. Nana Owusu says:

But this site look quite annoying, GNS please get proper website aba!! too many pop-ups, advertising and some inconsistency sometimes make this site annoying
