The African Cup of Nations is only two days old but if the rest of the tournament features a better goal celebration than this then we’ll eat our novelty vuvuzela.

The clip comes from Sunday’s 2-2 draw between Ghana and DR Congo. The latter were 2-1 down when Dieumerci Mbokani was dragged down in the box and awarded a penalty in the 69th minute.

The Belgian-based striker took the spot kick himself to level the game before busting out a natty dancing celebration with his team-mates.

The real action was at the other end, though, where keeper Robert Kidiaba was performing a.. Well, just see for yourself:

 

The Congoloese goalie is well known for his, er, bummy hop celebration – actually thought to represent riding an imaginary horse – as the clip below attests. Consider the gauntlet well and truly thrown down!

    Why are we pretending this dance is a new thing that has suddenly gone viral. Ghanaians should be familiar with it especially when DRC beat us in the final of CHAN in which we featured Charles Taylor, Rahim Ayew and co.
