Augustine Okrah

Bechem United playmaker Augustine Okrah weaved his magic in his side’s 2-1 defeat against his former side Asante Kotoko early this month at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Despite the defeat, Okrah was named man-of-the-match after mesmerizing the Kotoko defence and scoring the consolation goal.

The video below-released by his agent Oliver Arthur-explains why the 20-year old playmaker and leading scorer is seen by many as the best player in the First Capital Plus Premier League right now.

Ghana needs a playmaker, send this guy to Brazil! His combines speed, a supersoft touche and a pinpoint pass that will create goal scoring opportunities. AA should give him a chance!

  2. Josh says:

No wonder our league is not attractive if you would waist ink on average players. How on earth does this look a better player??
Do you guys have editors at all. Grow up ghanasoccernet. You promote your kind too much.
I beg if he’s being anything better in other matches that would probably be good to promote him but not these. scenes. What is so special about this video?
You guys a selling your integrity for money.
Did you even see Charles Taylor play?
    How about don bortey?
    Or Stephen oduro?
Oh my days. Sika nti, gyimi ahyemoma.
We don’t have to actually blame gfa for any lost interest in the local league but weak minded institutions like you.
    Tweaaaaa
Find a better game of him to show us pls.

Josh, what you wrote doesnt make sense because from a neutral point you can see the guy is super talented and what he does in the video is world-class. DID YOU SEE HOW HE WON THE PENALTY? It’s shocking you cant see. Every technical director will want this guy. He is developing but for sure he has played the same way all season so how can you be poor at seeing the quality??? He deserves Black Stars call…

  3. Muba says:

Very good touch and close control. Eye for passes and very confident. A year or two more to develop. That lo took team looked like a bunch of school boys. People forget the level and standard of Ghana league is not the same as Top European leagues. Now that kid needs a good manager to promote guide his football career. I pray he’s at the next World Cup as a top pro.

Hahahaha payola @ its best paaa!! How can this chap be the best player in the league when he’s just an average player? I bet you he’s no where near Winful Cobbinah of H.O.O who’s even a midfielder buh because his agent has paid some small $$$ to these hungry reporters @ GSN they have carried out this PR work in other to market him to scouts. This norm of over hyping average players must stop. I bet you this guy will struggle to make the cut outside GH simply because he’s not good enough, I mean he’s not matured yet and far from been a complete player. Even Mahatma Otoo who made lotta impact in the domestic league by featuring & scoring consistently for three consecutive seasons is not finding it easy in the Norwegian Tippeligaen. If he was that good he would have made the cut @ Kotoko some few seasons ago but was declared surplus to requirement which resulted in him been released to another club. It remains to be seen if he can replicate this same form next season cuz I wont be surprised at all if it turns out to be a fluke. Former goal king Baffour was also over hyped like this and we all saw how he struggled in a mediocre SA league, now he’s even struggling to find his feet in the domestic league with Ashgold. And by the way who told you he’s a real 20 yr old? Lol I wouldn’t wanna further on that.
