Wakaso scored a spectacular goal for Espanyol
Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso scored a spectacular goal on his debut for Espanyol in a 3-0 pre-season friendly win over Palamos.
The 20-year-old unleashed 30-yard thunderbolt which beat substitute goalkeeper Matri after coming off the bench for the second half on Wednesday.
Wakaso was deployed as a left-back by coach Mauricio Pochettino but was later re-assigned as a left-winger.
He took very little time to impress in his new role and scored the screamer for Espanyol in the 83rd minute.
Dani Nieto scored a double in the 3rd and 33 minutes respectively.
Wakaso joined Espanyol this month on a four-year deal from relegated Villarreal.

Mubarak should keep on for he can be one of the best players for Espanyol as the season is about to start.

The 20-year-old unleashed 30-yard…..was it not posted like a yr or two ago, this guy got 2 kid already whose wife was about 26 and it became a big argument here on GSN and now you have started again that he is 20yrs. In Ghanaian culture how many 20 yr old’s are married?….maybe less than 2% and he is married and 20 yrs old…its something that is annoying.

Thank god that ghanian player will be playing for espanyol but is very sad that our own kalu uche will leave a well known club like that and go to a lower club in turkey
