Ghanaian striker Kingsley Boateng is looking to make massive improvement on his individual skill while at Dutch club NAC Breda.

The 20-year-old joined the Eredivisie club this summer on a three-year deal from Italian giants AC Milan after being farmed out on loan last season to Catania.

Boateng is a man on a mission and aims to prove his worth at NAC Breda – believing the Dutch league is better suited for young players of his calibre.

“AC Milan is a great team but I am here to grow with the team, with NAC,” he said.

“Here [in Holland], you can have more space to play the ball, in Italy when you have the ball all the players are around and I think here football is good for young players.”

Boateng also took the opportunity to confirm he is not related to his former AC Milan teammate Kevin-Prince Boateng.

“No, we are not the same family but it is a common surname in Ghana so that’s all.

“I know him, he is a good guy and really give me some good words to grow.”

The youngster reveals his priority is to help his new club win games with scoring goals being a bonus.

“I hope to score more goals but I want to win first and if the goals come, better.”
