Maxwell Konadu insists opportunities still remain for players who are currently out of the Black Stars team with Ghana inching closer to World Cup qualification.
Ghana beat Zambia on Friday to progress to the final stage of the qualifiers for next year’s World Cup in Brazil.
Coach Akwasi Appiah has kept a consistent crop of players in recent times – effecting minimal changes occassionally.
And with his trusted charges steering Ghana closer to another World Cup qualification, discussions are already rife as to whether they should be retained in the event the Black Stars qualify for the World Cup proper as against bringing in new players.
But assistant coach Konadu though acknowledging the immense efforts made by the current crop says the side will always be looking to add more quality to the team.
“The coach hasn’t said that he has closed his doors at any player that is playing very well somewhere,” he said.
“If you are a Ghanaian and you are doing very well, you can be invited.
“But for now I think this team is not doing badly at all.
“So we will continue with this group but in case anybody is in top form anywhere around the globe, we will invite him.”
