Cape Verde began Thursday's training session in a highly buoyant mood with danceable tunes including the hit single of Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan, 'African Girls'.

The team though arriving late for their evening session at the Westbourne Oval wowed the very few fans and predominant Ghanaian media present with their native songs off an iPhone sound system.

The team cranked up the surprise when they started singing and dancing to Ghanaian hit song 'African Girls' which featured Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.

It was such a refreshing sight to watch as the players suited up for training in such relaxed mode.

They were however full of confidence of beating Ghana in the fist quarter final match of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.

Cape Verde have already exceeded expectations with their first time qualification to the knockout stage of the prestigious tournament.

They will however be hoping to extend their fairy tale story in South Africa with an unlikely victory over the Black Stars on Saturday.
