The Black Stars received words of encouragement from high ranking government officials on the eve of the start of their campaign at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The players met for the first time the newly appointed Chief of Staff, Prosper Bani while Ghana’s 2013 AFCON C0-Ordinator and Ghana FA President Dr Omane Boamah and Kwasi Nyantakyi respectively chipped in with their thoughts.
The officials also revealed a secret request made by the players to government has been granted and that should serve as added motivation to beating DR Congo on Sunday.

MAKE SURE THE PLAYERS ARE INCORPORATING METAL LIFTING INTO THEIR GAME. THE GAME HAS CHANGED FROM WAT IT USED TO BE IN YOUR TIME. LOOK AT AKAMINKO? HW3, THE ZAMBIANS, NAIJA AND IVORIANS PLAYERS WILL ALL BE LIFTING METAL. WHY ARE U LOOSING GUARD? U HAVE SEEN THE FIRST 2 GAMES AND HOW PHYSICAL IT HAS BEEN.
