AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari is making an amazing recovery from injury which could see him return to action by next month.

The Ghana international was ruled out of action for six months in July when he tore anterior cruciate ligaments in his left leg while playing with his friends while on holiday.

This means doctors expect him to return to action by late December after he went under the knife.

But a training video has shown that the Ghana international is making a quicker-than-expected return from injury. (See video below)

The 27-year-old is already running and kicking the ball along with AC Milan team-mates Robinho and Pato.

Having been integral in the title run-in last season, Muntari’s injury had enraged club boss Adriano Galliani for suffering the injury while on holidays.

Muntari will visit his doctors next month and he is expected to be cleared to return to action for the Serie A giants who are currently struggling.

If he returns to action next month it will be a massive boost for Ghana as they are eyeing their place at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

Muntari will win AFCON before retires from international football. Do not forget John Mensah, Panstil and Essien need AFCON title to complete their soccer career. These are the spine of Black stars, every opponents becomes unhappy to see these bunch of players together.

You are right. Mixing the old with the young produces excellent results. Add Atsu, Quincy, Dede, Kwadwo, Gyan, Boye, Jonathan, Akaminko, Annan, Kwaresey, Vorsah, Wakaso with two other young talents. The rest can wait after AFCON 2013. Only experience can win us the title not fancy football.
