Veteran Richard Kingson slams Razak Brimah for poor goalkeeping skills at AFCON

Veteran goalkeeper Richard Kingson has questioned the credentials of Ghana’s first choice Razak Brimah at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Kingson says the Spain-based goalkeeper’s mis-times his aerial challenges and badly positions himself between the sticks.

Brimah beat off competition from the experienced Fatau Dauda and Ernest Sowah to be handed the starting spot.

His abilities however came under the microscope after a 17th minute volley from Mandla Masango beat him.

Kingson scored him low marks despite Ghana reaching the quarterfinals.

”He doesn’t know how to position himself well in post. I also have a problem with his timing and calculation in making saves,” Kingson old Accra based Happy FM.
