VEEP Presents Birthday Car To Nat. Chief Imam

General News of Sunday, 6 May 2012Source: The New Ghanaian Voice Information reaching yours truly The New Ghanaian Voice had it that the Vice President, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, has presented a Toyota land cruiser 4-wheel drive to the National Chief Imam of Ghana , Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu at his residence in New Fadama, Accra.

After our ears were tipped with the news, we sought to find out and our reporter when to the scene to see the car and it was confirmed.

The black coloured luxurious 4-wheel drive vehicle, thought was not presented physically by the Vice President is said to be coming from him.

Our sources close to the Chief Imam disclosed to us that the car was a gift to Sheikh Sharubutu from Mr. Mahama on the occasion the of the Imam’s 89th Birthday celebrations.

Our source disclosed to us that the car is said to be valued at 77,955 USD and the number plate is customized as “IMAM 2 – 12”.

The National Chief Imam thanked Mr. Mahama for the gesture.
