Valenciennes manager Ariël Jacobs has hailed the former of Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris after he shoulder the relegation-threatened side to a remarkable win over Evian TG in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday.
The Belgian gaffer is thrilled with the 22-year-old's scoring form and contribution to their survival campaign and has praised his effort since his arrival in January.
"He makes us feel good, because he is often decisive upfront. It brings the power great technique and has a big ball striking ability," he said in the post-match interview.
Waris, who is on loan from Russian side Spartak Moscow bagged his 6th goal from 10 games and Jacobs is confident he could score more before the end of the season to aid their survival hopes.
"He is an added value to the squad and I hope he scores more to help the team but we don't have to depend on an individual all the time," he added.
