Ghanaian midfielder Uriah Asante is determined to emulate the exploits of Harrison Afful in the Tunisian top-flight.

The 19-year-old has hit the limelight with exciting performances in his debut season, culminating in two goals in three matches for giants Etoile Du Sahel.

The former Hearts of Oak talisman is confident he will raise the flag of Ghana high by churning out fine performances for the Red Devils.

“When I came here a lot of people said many things but I thank God everything is going on as planned,” Asante told Radio XYZ

“I also want to follow in the footsteps of Harrison Afful who has done so much with Esperance.

“It is the dream of every player to win titles and so my target is to win as many titles as possible for Etoile.

“I will keep working hard.”

Asante is touted as one of the young exciting midfielders to have emerged from Ghana.
