Uganda will rely on information being provided by Ghana-based defender Joseph Ochaya in order to beat the Black Stars in next month’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Ghana opens its campaign towards qualification for next year’s finals to be staged by Morocco against the Cranes on September 6 in Kumasi.

Uganda have shown immense seriousness towards playing against the star-studded Black Stars team and are leaving no stone unturned toward achieving what will be a famous result against Ghana.

The Ugandan FA are taking vital information from defender Joseph Ochaya who plays his club football for Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko.

“Ochaya is not going to play but he is part of the team and he is helping us with information about Ghana,” Uganda FA spokesman Fred Malibu told Metro FM.

“We however know Kotoko is different from the Ghana Black Stars.

“But he is helping us with information about the food and the hotels in Ghana.”

Ghana struggled to draw 1-1 the last time they hosted Uganda ironically at the same venue for September 6th’s clash back in 2005.
