Uganda’s national team will train in Ghana ahead of their 2014 World Cup qualifier against Liberia on Sunday.

The Cranes are expected to arrive in Accra on Thursday for the final phase of preparations towards the game at the weekend.

The team will camp in Accra for three days before flying out to Monrovia for their game against the Lone Stars.

The team will go into residential training at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Monday and fly out on Thursday aboard Kenya Airways,”  Uganda FA spokesman Rogers Mulindwa confirmed.

Uganda currently trail Senegal by two points in Group J of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Uganda squad: Goalkeepers: Denis Onyango (Supersport United, SA), Abel Dhaira (Simba, TZ) and Hamza Muwonge (Vipers SC, Uganda)

Defenders: Denis Guma (SC Victoria), Isaac Isinde (St. George Ethiopia), Nicholas Wadada (Vipers, Uganda), Godfrey Walusimbi (CS Don Bosco, DRC), Simeon Masaba (URA FC, Uganda), Joseph Ochaya (Asante Koto, Ghana), Henry Kalungi (Railhawks, USA) and Andrew Mwesigwa (FC Ordabasy, Kazakhstan).

Midfielders: Luwaga Kizito (Leixieos, Portugal), Said Kyeyune (URA FC, Uganda), Musa Mudde (Simba SC, Tanzania), Hassan Wasswa (KCCA FC, Uganda), Boban Zirintusa (Dynamos, Zimbabwe), Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito (Sai Gon, Vietnam), Moses Oloya (Vietnam) Mike Mutyaba (TP Mazembe, DRC) and Tony Mawejje (free agent).
