Uganda will play the Black Stars at the National Stadium in Kampala

Uganda have moved next month's crucial 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ghana to the capital city of Kampala despite playing previous qualifiers in Namboole, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The Uganda FA has also confirmed to Ghana's leading football news website www.ghanasoccernet.com that the match will be played on Saturday, November 15.

The Cranes are desperate to win the match to brighten their chances of reaching the tournament in Morocco and have moved the match to the capital to reduce the travelling time for the home side.

The Cranes have played most of their recent matches at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole but the move to Kampala has also been seen as an attempt to garner massive support for the home team.

They have lined up a friendly against Ethiopia to prepare to face the Black Stars in the crucial match.

Coach Sredojevic says that any build-up for the team ahead of the Ghana game will be very welcome because it will help him organize the team better.

Ethiopia Walia Ibex who caused a major upset beating Mali in Bamako 3-2 in a 2015 Afcon qualifier last week will also use the game to prepare for their next home game against Malawi in Addis Ababa.

The Cranes who lost their last two matches to Emmanuel Adebayor’s Togo will have to be at their best against Group E table leaders Ghana if they hope to revive their qualification hopes.

The Cranes are third in Group E with four points behind Togo and Ghana.

Guinea are bottom of the log with four points, but with a poor goal difference.
