Uganda leave for Kumasi today ahead of Ghana AFCON qualifier
The Cranes will land in Kumasi on Friday morning

Uganda will leave Accra in two batches on Friday morning to Kumasi- venue for Saturday’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Cranes touched down in Accra on Thursday morning after ending camping in Niamey, Niger.

The Cranes, who lost 2-0 to Niger in an International friendly on Tuesday night, will be hungry to get a good result against the Black Stars who participated in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The visitors will be hoping that they can get another good result in Kumasi like they did in 2003 when they managed a 1-1 draw in an Afcon qualifier.

Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic’s team will however miss their prolific striker Geoffrey Massa. The University of Pretoria striker has been left out of the squad after his club could not release him early.
