Uganda coach Micho Sredojevic has tagged Ghana’s World Cup play-offs against Egypt as the tie of the final qualifying round.
The Serb tactician says the tie will be ‘very close’ to call as both sides are highly-rated on the continent. .
Ghana will host Egypt in the first leg on 13 October at the Baba Yara Stadium and the return leg between 15-19 November.
“Ghana has the experience of playing at the World Cup while Egypt have been growing from strength to strength after missing the last two Africa Nations Cup,” the 44-year-old said.
“Egypt will also be inspired to go back to the World Cup for the first time since 1990.”
In January this year, the Black Stars thumped the Pharaohs 3-0 in a pre-2013 Africa Cup of Nations friendly.
Egypt beat Ghana 1-0 at the final of the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.
