Ghana stars are seeking results on Tuesday and Wednesday nights in the Uefa Champions League as they go sought to better the chances of their clubs reaching the knock-out stages of Europe's flagship club competition.

On Tuesday night, only Kevin-Prince Boateng is expected to be in action for German Bundesliga giants Schalke 04 who host Portuguese side Sporting CP at the Veltins Arena. The Royal Blues are without a win from Group G after drawing both of their opening games of the group but with former Chelsea boss and Uefa Champions League winner Roberto Di Matteo on their bench, they are expected to claim their first win in the group.

Elsewhere at the Camp Nou, Dutch-born Ghanaian young defender Kenny Tete could earn his debut in the competition if he is handed a spot in the Ajax squad for the game as they take on Spanish giants Barcelona in a Group F tie.

On Wednesday night, winger Frank Acheampong is expected to start for Anderlecht who host English Premier League side Arsenal at the Stade Constant Vanden Stock in Brussels. The 21-year-old was not used by full strength by the Royal Club and is expected to play a key role in the game for the Belgians.

Central midfielder Enock Adu Kofi has travelled with the Malmo FF squad who are seeking positive results at Spanish La Liga title-holders Atletico Madrid. Kofi, who joined the already-crowned Swedish champions in August has been a total influence on Malmo since his arrival. And, though forward Markus Rosenberg is expected to carry Malmo on his shoulders, however, the influence of Kofi in midfield is expected to play a crucial role.

"After winning against Olympiakos, we want to do it again in Spain and that's why we have come here. We want to get positive results," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

In another Group A tie, versatile Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is expected to be key for Italian Serie A giants Juventus who are in Greece to take on Olympiakos.
