Udinese have denied that defender Masahudu Alhassan has been sold to Eintracht Frankfurt.

The club’s sporting director Christian Giaretta in an interview with Sportitalia has dismissed reports that the Ghana international will leave to join the German Bundesliga side.

The left-back has been training with Les Zebrettes for pre-season and looks set to stay at the Stadio Fruili.

He spent last season on loan at Latina where he helped them to reach the Serie B promotional playoffs after playing 42 matches and scored one goal.

Alhassan signed a five-year contract with Udinese from Genoa last year.
