Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has been handed the Ghana armband for Wednesday’s crucial qualifier against Togo in Tamale Stadium.
The Udinese player will have to stand-in as leader of the team with Andre Ayew injured and ruled out of final Group E clash.
Agyemang-Badu was handed the armband when Ayew was replaced in the second half of Ghana’s 1-0 defeat to Uganda in Kampala on Saturday.
He is one of the most capped players of the current crop who were invited for the double header this month.
