Ghana has suffered a severe injury blow at the ongoing U17 Women’s World Cup with forward Priscilla Adubea ruled out for the remainder of the tournament.

The youngster sustained a knee injury in the 2-1 defeat to Canada in the final Group B game last Saturday.

Further examinations have revealed the Black Maidens star has suffered a severe knock on his injury which require months to fully heal.

This means Adubea’s contribution to Evans Adotey’s side at the tournament in Costa Rica has ended.

She will therefore be unavailable for the Black Maidens when they take on Italy in the quarter finals on Thursday.
