Turkish side Denizlispor table $650,000 for the services of Mahatma Otoo

Hearts striker Mahatma Otoo will join Turkish side Denizlispor

Hearts striker Mahatma Otoo will join Turkish side Denizlispor for a reported $650,000.

The former Ghana Under-23 captain has been in Turkey since last week as he attempts to tie a deal with one of five reported clubs who have expressed interest in his services.

Denizlispor are believed to be leading the chase after tabling $650,000 for the services of the player.

Orduspor are reported to have offered to pay $500,000, meaning they will need to up their bid if they want to gazump the offer Denizlispor has put on the table.

“The trials have gone on so well so far and they (Denizlispor) are ready to sit down and talk,” Otoo is quoted by 90 Minutes newspaper

“Hopefully the mediacl will be successful and then see what happens.”

Hearts are looking to sign ex-Ashantigold striker Federick Quayson as Otoo’s replacement.
